Remembering Birthdays

Happy Birthday to my aunt and godmother, Donna Regelsky.  She would have been 63 years old today had she not lost her year-and-a-half long battle with brain cancer earlier this year.  In her memory, I will donate money each year on this date to the American Cancer Society in the amount of the age she would have turned.  This year, I have donated $63.  Next year, $64, and so on.

Donna’s story is a reminder that cancer does not discriminate, even if there is no history of the disease in your family.  To learn more about cancer research and how you can help, please visit the American Cancer Society.
